MeganShae Spivey & Luke Rogers

Megan danced competitively for 15 years under the direction of Michelle Reinhol Keefe. Megan is trained is ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, hip hop, acrobatic, and musical theatre. She cheered with Universal Cheerleading Association in 2005. After graduation she attended Jacksonville State University, where she became a member of the JSU Hard Corps basketball dance team, The Go-Go’s. Megan's dancers have won many scholarships, title awards, high point awards, and even were named feature shooting stars for Atlanta’s WNBA team, The Dream. She spent one year with Georgia's AFL team, Georgia Force and two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons Cheereleaders. Megan is constantly continuing her dance education by attending conventions and workshops. Megan grew up in this area, and has always wished for a program like she is now offering; “It’s time to prepare children for the future. I want to encourage kids to grow their talents and find their purpose. It’s time for children to look back on their training, and know that they are prepared for their next steps.”

 

Luke has many jobs here at The Fever. You won't see him around often because he works from school, at the University of Georgia where he is currently in the School of Veterinary Medicine.  Luke married Mrs.Megan Spivey on October 15, 2010! Luke cuts, mixes, and customizes all of the musical selections for Fever performers! He also is responsible for all rectial and competition props & scenary.

Erika Taylor

Erika has been a professional dancer and teacher for over 15 years. She began her early dance training with the Sacramento Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and with Marjorie Mussman in New York. She has had several summer scholarships with the Milwaukee Ballet and graduated early from high school to dance with them. Erika has also danced with Arizona Dance Theatre and spent 10 years as the principal dancer with the Charleston Ballet Theatre. She has been teaching ballet, pointe, jazz, and tap to 3 year-olds thru adult and has won several awards for her choreography in ballet. Erika has a 6 year-old little boy, and will graduate in May with an AA in education. She is excited to be a part of the Fever Performing Arts staff!

 

Erika Is available for Private Dance Lessons upon request. Her hourly rate is $60

Amy Spivey

Amy has been a secretary at Deeper Life Christian Center for 13 years. She has been around the dance world even longer being Megan and Sarah Spivey's mother. She also has been teaching children's church for 12 years. At The Fever she combines both talents involving business matters and her love of children. She will always greet you and your family with a smile and take care of any matters you need tended too.

Sarah Spivey

Sarah Spivey is nineteen years old and has been in the dance field for sixteen years. She first started when she was three years old in tap and ballet, but as she got older she took hip hop, clogging, lyrical, gymnastics, pointe, and modern/contemporary dancing. She mainly put her focus into lyrical, contemporary, and ballet. Sarah started competing at the age of four and continued doing competitions until her senior year of dance and high school. After that, she started teaching at The Fever Performing Arts working with the 2 and under groups and the 3-4 year old groups. She now teaches the 5-7 and the 8-10 year old groups. Knowing that she works well with kids and loves them, Sarah is attending UWG for a major in psychology and a minor in sociology to be a social worker to help kids.

 

Sarah Is available for Private Dance Lessons upon request. Her hourly rate is $30

Dannielle Price

 

Dannielle attended her first ZUMBA® class 3 years ago when her normal aerobics class was cancelled...from there she was hooked, taking every class she could. Finally after much prodding by her mentor Lora Nelson, Dannielle decided to become certified to teach this past November. In addition to being a ZUMBA® instructor, Dannielle is the mother of two beautiful girls and balances time between them and her job as a Laboratory Manager for a food ingredient company. Dannielle's plans include to become certified in other ZUMBA® specialties so she can offer a variety of classes at FEVER. Dannielle is very excited to bring her love for the ZUMBA® fitness program to Fever, and hopes to bring that love to others. Much ZUMBA® LOVE

 

 

Arianah Deavours

 

Arianah has been on the stage since the age of 3. Her first Production was the Atlanta Passion Play- which she continued to perform for 13 years at the Atlanta Civic Center. She has dance, sang, and acted in over 20 on stage musical productions. Arianah loves being on stage & loves sharing that passion with the students here at The Fever. She is currently majoring in Early Childhood Education and plans to use her degree working with Christian organizations- teaching drama while in the ministry.

 

Ryan Taylor

My name is Ryan Taylor. I have been playing the guitar for over 6 years and have taught numerous students. If you have any questions about starting classes or whats needed to start classes feel free to contact Megan at The Fever!

Danielle Windom~Student Teaching Program

Danielle has been involved in dance for 13 years. She began dancing at the age of three and has studied areas of dance including: ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. Danielle has competed in many regional and national competitions over the past five years. She was the scholarship recipient for a Dance Intensive at Pensacola Junior College in 2009. She has two sisters ages 8 and 4. Interacting with her sisters has helped prepare Danielle to instruct small children in a positive atmosphere. She is well prepared for instruction, discipline and fun with the baby classes. She has a burning desire for dance. "My entire life dance has always been the one thing that brings me complete happiness and relaxation. I am thrilled to be able to share my passion and watch all of the young dancers grow in both their dance abilities and confidence."

 

Matthew Dixon

 

Matt has been in the theater business as far back as he can remember. He has been acting, Singing and Dancing on Stage since the age of 12. He starred in his first on stage performance his freshman year of high school. Some of Matt's favorite parts to play included "Danny" in Grease, "VanHelsing" in Dracula, and "Joseph" in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He studied performance under Bill Bivins, Monty Long, Professor Paul Patton, and David Dixon. Matt has taken 4 years of acting classes, including professional workshops, and has been training vocally his whole life, classical training starting 4 years ago. Matt started taking ballet at The Academy of the Arts, but found his true niche at The Fever, where he took ballet, jazz, tap and musical theatre. Matt has been participating in everything Fever since, working in their Acting Branch, casting shows, writing scripts and really making the characters "Come to Life."

Megan Jarrell

 

Megan was on the competitive gymnastics team at Bowdon Gymnastics for 8 years. She began at the age of 4 in gymnastics classes and continued through Level 7. When entering high school she was a Varsity Cheerleader for four years at Bowdon High on the competitive squad. Megan has recently graduated from West Georgia Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology. She took her boards recently and became a registered Radiologist Technologist. She is now planning her wedding in December and coaching gymnastics. She has a love for children and a goal to help each and every child to grow in life.

Sand Q.

 

 

 

Sand Quincy started dancing at the age of 15. A tug of war between football and dance landed him on the big stage with well known performers and athletes. From movie extras to music videos, Sand has managed to find his way to the spotlight. With education at the university of Cumberland's dance program, to the Titusville Ballet and Jazz Center, and on to New Dimensions Dance Academy , Sand has branched off and taken the hip hop world into his own hands. Giving back to community through boys and girls clubs, performing for schools all across the east coast, offering hip hop workouts to gyms and colleges and finally bringing himself to the home of Fever Performing arts. With 17 years of experience Sands dance background ranges from: Hip Hop- Lyrical -Contemporary -Modern -Jazz -African

Ashley Bolden

Ashley began dancing at a very young age. She began her training at Michelle’s Academy of Dance; taking classes such as gymnastics, tap, hip hop, ballet and jazz. After falling in love with each of the classes she persued the competitive dance track. Ashley's first experiences as a teacher, began with the 4 & under program at Michelle's. Ashley continued her dance training with The Fever Performing Arts their inagural year. At the beginning of 2011 she began an internship with the Haralson county district attorney’s office; where she is interning to become a Victim Advocate. While in her intern, she is excited to continue with the dance world by working with the 4 & under program at The Fever.

 

Megann Robinson~Student Teaching Program

 

 Megann is 15 years old and has been dancing since the age of 3. She began dancing

competitively when she was only 4 years old. Over the past 12 years of training,

she been involved of many styles of dance, such as: jazz, hip hop, contemporary,

modern, tap, pointe, and lyrical. Megann helps around at The Fever by assisting

with jazz and lyrical. Megann hopes to become a choreographer and

inspire people.
